Terms of Use

These terms apply when you download or use HyriX, its account and its library. By using HyriX you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use HyriX. Questions: [email protected].

1. Using HyriX

• You may install HyriX on computers you use and use it to make videos for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to make an account.
• Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute HyriX itself, except where the law allows it or an open-source licence that comes with HyriX says otherwise (Settings › About › Open source).

2. Your account

• Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Account › Delete account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts HyriX or other people at risk.

3. Your videos are yours

You own what you make with HyriX. We don't claim any rights in your projects or exports. If you save a project to your account, we keep a copy only so you can restore it, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. The HyriX library and stock media

• Effects, transitions, filters, caption and text styles and other library items may be used in videos you make with HyriX, including commercial ones. You may not take them out of HyriX to sell or share as items on their own.
• Fonts, music, sounds, stickers, pictures and clips from other sources (for example Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash, Openverse, Freesound, NASA or Wikimedia) come under their own licences. HyriX shows their credits; it's up to you to follow those licences and to have the rights to everything you put in your videos.

5. AI features and connected apps

HyriX's on-device AI tools run on your computer. AI apps you connect (such as Claude or ChatGPT) and paid services you add your own key for are provided by their makers under their terms; HyriX passes them only what you ask it to. Check what AI tools produce before you publish it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use HyriX or its account to break the law, to harm, harass or deceive people, to infringe other people's rights, or to overload, probe or interfere with HyriX's servers.

7. Updates and beta versions

HyriX updates itself with signed updates. Beta versions (Settings › About › Get beta updates) are for trying new features early and may have more problems than regular versions — keep backups of your projects.

8. No warranty

HyriX is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or right for your purpose. Keep your own copies of important projects and media.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, HyriX is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or projects, arising from your use of HyriX. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live that can't be limited.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. We'll update the date above and tell you in the app about important changes. Using HyriX after a change means you accept the new terms.
